"cos she miss you everywhere she goes,"
i learnt Alkanes today. :D
they are organic compounds because they are formed with hydrogen and carbon in it.
The most simple compound of alkane is Methane, followed by the rest.
the formula for alkanes is CnH2(n)+2 (:
substitution is to be used as well.
and for substitution, substitue with halogens only, which are Flourine, Chlorine, Bromine and Iodine.
F2, Cl2, Br2 and I2 (:
A beaker of hexane will have more inter molecular attraction than a beaker of methane.
The more inter molecular attraction there are, the higher will the boiling and melting point be.
more bond breaking and forming will gives out more energy.
And the more inter molecular attraction there is, it will be more viscous.
When there's lesser, like methane for example, it will be volatile, which means easy to go from liquid to gaseous state.
Cabon must always have Four bonds,
Hydrogen always One,
Oxygen will have Two.
1 Methane 2Ethane 3Propane 4Butane 5Pentane 6Hexane 7Heptane 8Octane 9Nonane 10Decane :DD
im contented, cos i learnt chemistry today, it's so rare to see me memorize everything in a day(:
i think im starting to be in love with chemistry somehow, i mean Alkanes (x
"Just so you know" is niceeeee!
"Too close for comfort" as well!
okay off to start on my Alkenes :)

And this is Mr Brickbear :D
That rose he's holding is from Maddy :)
He's superrr adorable, ain't he?
And he's said to be a Guardian bear,
and i do believe that v much.<3
